Montgomery Agricultural
Fair & 4-H Youth Development Craft Fair

Have you ever been to the State Fair and said to yourself, “My fruits and vegetables look better than this.” or “I could can vegetables better than this.”?  Well, now is your chance to prove it.  The Montgomery County Cooperative Extension Service is hosting an Agriculture Fair on August 27th during the annual Livestock Show.  All ages are encouraged to participate and prizes will be awarded during the Show. You must be a Montgomery county resident to participate and the produce or canned products must be produced within the county. If you have a child or youth that enjoys doing crafts, the Montgomery County 4-H is conducting a 4-H Craft Fair that will also be going on during the Livestock Show.  If you’re interested in participating in either the Agriculture Fair or the 4-H Craft Fair, please contact Brad Thompson or Chrissy Haynes at 910-576-6011 or come by the Extension office to pick up a Participation Booklet that includes all Rules and Regulations as well as Best of Show categories. To see the flyer, please click here.
