Small Farms Week is March 24 – 30 this year. The event is hosted by Cooperative Extension at N.C. A&T University. This years theme is “New Paths to Profits”. Held annually at the N.C. A&T Farm Pavillion in Greensboro, events are offered to growers this year focusing on resilient and sustainable agriculture and farm financial management. Numerous professionals will share their stories and there will also be a session on market opportunities. The public is encouraged to attend, and small farmers can attend at no cost. This is a great opportunity to learn about the people and operations impacting the multi billion dollar NC agriculture industry, in which small scale producers play a key role but are commonly underrepresented.
