Summer heat got you beat? Cool off this fall with a striking blue pumpkin from Starworks. Talented artists specially crafted this 7” wide x 9” tall hand-blown silver and blue glass pumpkin that will be raffled off at 4 p.m. on October 30, 2023.

Generously donated from Starworks for the benefit of the Montgomery County Master Gardener Program, the piece is valued at $150 and has an opening in the bottom for staging or inserting lights.

Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5. Buy your tickets today from an Extension Master Gardener of Montgomery County or at the N.C. Cooperative Extension center in Troy, NC.

The proceeds from this raffle go directly to supporting the NC State Extension Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Montgomery County. Volunteers are rigorously trained by NC State to be engaged community educators providing unbiased, research-based, environmentally sound information about growing lawns, fruits, vegetables, trees, and ornamentals. In Montgomery County, Extension Master Gardener volunteers manage numerous community gardens, including those at Starworks. Your donations are appreciated and help us create beautiful and sustainable spaces for all to enjoy for the betterment of the community and the environment. Thank you for your ticket purchases! The winner will be contacted after the drawing to arrange pickup. If shipping is required, the winner is responsible for paying the shipping and handling fees.

Starworks Glass is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; providing a public access glass studio that offers rental space for glass artists, classes and workshops for the general public, a resident artist and internship program, and high school and college glass curriculum. Learn more here.
