As we hope you remember, this summer, Montgomery County Department of Health, North Carolina Cooperative Extension of Montgomery County, Montgomery County Partnership for Children, and the Montgomery Herald partnered to offer a Recipe Round Up contest. For six weeks, community members were urged to send in healthy recipes based on themes (drinks, appetizers, main courses, etc.). Two weekly winners were awarded grocery gift cards. Additionally, at the same time, children were encouraged to contribute colored drawings of their favorite summertime activities. All of these submissions have now been compiled into a Recipe Round Up Cook Book and is available for FREE download.
