Pesticide Recertification Credits flyer

Join the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Montgomery County Horticulture Agent and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Pesticide Inspector ll on August 31, 2021, to gain credits for pesticide recertification. Courses will be held in person at the Montgomery County office located at 203 West Main St., Troy, NC 27371.

Participants will be eligible for 2 credits of V certification from 10 a.m.–noon. Topics reviewed will include: EPA Updates and NCDA&CS Environmental Program, herbicide resistance, and how water quality influences pesticide performance.

A break will be held from noon–12:30 p.m. Lunch will not provided.

From 12:30–2:30 p.m. participants will be able to obtain 2 credits of A,B,D,G,H,I,K,L,M,N,O,T, or X while reviewing information about planning a pesticide application and the security, storage, and transport of pesticides.
