With the holiday season quickly approaching, families are starting to plan for all the traditions, foods, pictures, travel, and gifts that go with this wonderful time of the year. Sometimes the cost of the holiday season exceeds what our budget can comfortably afford, and unfortunately, sometimes we turn to our credit cards to help us accomplish everything we do.

Even though the holiday season will come to an end, the holiday bill never stops coming until it gets paid off. And the associated interest with credit card purchases can elevate what you *thought* you were spending to levels you never expected.

But there is hope! With a little thought, a little prioritizing and setting some boundaries, you CAN enjoy the season AND look forward to the New Year without the new debt.

Bring your lunch, bring a friend, and join us for a FREE lunch and learn workshop “Help for Your Holiday Budget” on Monday, November 18, 2019, from noon until one.

Registration is not required but is encouraged. Please RSVP by calling (910) 576-6011 or email Rhonda Peters at rtpters@ncat.edu.
