Selected participants will gain experience in areas such as livestock handling, fieldwork, agricultural operations, and equipment use while developing valuable skills that can be applied to future education and career opportunities. You must be interested in a career in agriculture. You will be required to complete a project.
Program Details:
Duration: 4 weeks during the summer of 2027
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Compensation: Participants will receive a stipend for their participation at the end of the 4 weeks.
Availability: One participant will be selected for the 2027 program.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be a recent high school graduate.
- Be a resident of Montgomery County, North Carolina.
Application Information:
Applications must be submitted by February 28, 2027.
The selected participant will be notified by mid-April 2027.
