The University of Mount Olive AgPrime Cost Share Grant provides grants to North Carolina farmers for new and innovative agricultural project ideas that will increase farm profits. This program, which is supported by the North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund Commission, was designed to strengthen farms and communities that were negatively impacted by the downturn of the tobacco economy. Applicants must farm in eligible counties. In our region these include Montgomery, Moore, and Richmond.
