Youth ages 5-18 with chickens are encouraged to participate in the Egg-cellent egg competition. Youth should:

September 8 or Before – Register for the competition here!

September 12 – Watch the initial training live or recorded, 5:30 p.m.; The Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants.

September 22 – Pay a $15 registration fee (includes awards, and a t-shirt) to Hoke County 4-H Attn: Cathy James, 645 East Palmer Street, Raeford, NC 28376

September 26 – Watch the In-depth training live or recorded; The Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants.

November 7 – Submit the educational, supplemental portion.

November 7 OR BEFORE – Submit 6 eggs for judging to your County Extension Center (Check with your county office for their deadline)

November 21 – Watch the awards Zoom to celebrate your hard work
