2026 Agricultural and Crafts Fair and Chicken Show
The Annual Montgomery County Agricultural & Crafts Fair will return on September 4, 2026, at the Montgomery County Ag Center, providing an opportunity for residents to showcase their talents, learn about local agriculture, and connect with community organizations.
The fair celebrates the agricultural heritage and creativity of Montgomery County through exhibits, educational displays, youth activities, and community engagement opportunities. Residents of all ages are encouraged to participate by entering exhibits in a variety of categories, including agriculture, horticulture, crafts, baking, photography, artwork, and more.
Exhibit Entries
Exhibits will be accepted on Thursday, September 3, from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Montgomery County Ag Center. Participants should review the entry packet for class and division information prior to arrival. Entry forms will be completed during the check-in process, and pre-registration is not required for general exhibits.
Youth Chicken Show
Youth interested in participating in the Chicken Show must complete a separate registration form. Chicken Show registration will remain open until August 21 at 5:00 p.m.

Fair Activities
The fair will open to the public at 4:00 p.m. on September 4 and will feature a variety of exhibits and activities designed to educate and engage visitors of all ages. Attendees will have the opportunity to view exhibit entries, visit with local organizations, explore hands-on educational displays, and learn more about agriculture and natural resources in Montgomery County.
Community partners, local organizations, and 4-H clubs will be on site to share information about their programs and opportunities available to residents. The Montgomery County Livestock Club will also host a bake sale during the event.
Returning this year, Max Milestone BBQ will be serving food throughout the evening, providing attendees with an opportunity to enjoy a locally prepared meal while visiting the fair.

Exhibit Pick-Up
Exhibit pick-up will begin at 5:00 p.m. on September 4 following the public viewing period.
