Montgomery County 4-H is excited to announce a partnership with the Montgomery County Beekeepers to make some beautiful homes for busy bees! We are hosting a Bee Box Design Competition for all creative youth. Bees love bright colors, and we request no large areas of the colors black or red. Drawings and paintings featuring bees and plants are preferred. Designs can be submitted to anna_hamilton@ncsu.edu by April 1st. Artists whose designs are chosen will be given $15 in 4-H scholarship dollars. The winning designs will be painted on the Bee Boxes at 9:00 AM on Saturday, April 5th.

Everyone is invited to the Bee Box Painting Workshop! Join us for a fun-filled morning of art and community spirit as we bring vibrant color to the bee boxes! All ages are invited to participate in this FREE event! Come check out the winning designs and put brush to canvas to bring these boxes alive for the bees.
