Managing money isn't just a parent's responsibility. Join us for a fun morning where participants will learn the value of money - how to get it, how to save it, how to share it, and how and when to spend it. June 21st from 9AM until Noon. Ages 5 - 12. Cost $5.00
During this exciting two day program, teens will be empowered to take control of their health by learning to balance food choices and physical activity to improve overall wellness. No one should leave hungry and parents will be thrilled with what their youth are able to make on their own at home after program completion. Participants will learn how to prepare a variety of nutritious foods and will keep their bodies active while we hike and swim. Please advise us of any food allergies or sensitivities and bring 4-H appropriate swimwear, sun-screen, inset repellant and other personal protective needs for outside summer fun. Dates: June 24 and 25. Time on both days 9 am until 5 pm. Ages 12 - 18. Cost: $20.00
Join us as we prepare to launch into adulthood! This fun, THREE day class will focus on management of financial resources as we explore "adult" responsibilities such as managing income (bank accounts, credit cards, etc.), vehicle maintenance, basics of laundry (including how to sew on a missing button), meal planning and preparation, setting priorities, healthy relationships in life and many other important aspects of living on your own. Just as every personal budget should include funds for entertainment, our journey into adulthood will also include time for fun and entertainment. Dates: June 26, 27 and 28. Time all three day 9 am until 5 pm. Ages 12 - 18. Cost: $30.00.
