A girl holds ribbons in an arena with a pig. Registration for the 2023 Albemarle Area 4-H Livestock Show & Sale is now open. Please complete the ONLINE FORM. If you need help securing an animal please contact our office and we will get you in touch with animal producers.

Some important dates to remember are:

March 1st-15th:  Goats, Lambs, Pigs Tagging
April 1st:  Deadline to fill out animal take-home form (A google form will be sent to all participants in mid-March)
April 3rd:  All steers/heifers need to demonstrate being halter broken to Livestock agent by this date
April 20th:  All raffle tickets and money needs to be turned into your County N.C. Cooperative Extension Office
April 22rd:  Set-up arena for the show at 8:00 a.m.
April 25th:  Goat, Steer and Heifer Show
April 26th:  Hog and Lamb Show and Auction
May 4th:  Break-down of show, 6:00 p.m.
May 12th:  Livestock records, project record books and scholarship applications due to your county N.C. Cooperative Extension Office
