Recipes From Our Canning Workshops!

The Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) Program at the Montgomery County Cooperative Extension Office offered a canning series in which participants learned the science of home food preservation (specifically home canning), got hands-on practice waterbath and pressure canning experience, and took home their canned goods and a Ball Blue Book in order to continue using their new skills at home.  Below are the recipes we used in our classes.  Please contact FCS Agent, Hayley Napier if you have any questions about food preservation & food safety @ 910-576-6011 OR hayley_napier@ncsu.edu.
